The presence of private sectors in international conflicts has always existed throughout human history. The end of the Cold War and the emergence of private military security companies shape other forms of private sector performance in wars. Private military security companies are known as emerging players in military conflicts. The current research is an attempt to answer the question of what impact private military security companies have on wars and specifically on the 2022 conflict between Ukraine and Russia? The findings of the research show that private military companies play a role in conflicts with their direct and indirect presence in military conflicts, conducting training and intelligence affairs and military conflicts, and on the other hand, denying international responsibility of governments to some military actions. And Wagner has played a special role in the 2022 war in Ukraine by being on the battle fronts and taking over military operations and extensive participation in Russian security and intelligence training projects. The research method of this article is qualitative type and sample research technique with an explanatory research approach to data analysis.
