fa موازنه تهدید و بازدارندگی متقابل ایران و ایالات متحده آمریکا The balance of threat and mutual deterrence between Iran and the United States تخصصي Special پژوهشي Research رقابتها و تعارضات ایدئولوژیک میان جمهوری اسلامی ایران و ایالات متحده آمریکا در منطقه غرب آسیا به قدری گسترده است  که این دو بازیگر را به تهدید عینی برای یکدیگر مبدل ساخته است. هر کدام از این دو کشور به سبب منافع متفاوتی که در منطقه دارند دیگری را به مثابه یک عامله مخرب برای دستیابی و تامین منافع ملی خویش در منطقه در نظرمیگیرند و همین مسئله نیز به نوبه خود باعث پیدایش یک تهدید ادراکی متقابل در بین آمریکا و ایران در غرب آسیا شده است. این احساس تهدید به رقابت منطقهای جمهوری اسلامی ایران و ایالات متحده آمریکا در این منطقه ژئوپولیتیک رنگ و بویی متفاوت داده است و آنان را وادار ساخته است که برای ایجاد بازدارندگی در مقابل تهدیدات عینی یکدیگر برای دستیابی به موازنه قوا تلاش نمایند. در این فرآیند هر کدام از این دو کشور تلاش میکنند تا با استفاده از مزیتها و فرصتهای که در اختیار دارند درمقابل دیگری به ایجادموازنه بپردازند و به نظر میرسد که هر دوی آنها نیز تا حدود زیادی در این امر موفق بودهاند. با این وجود سطح تهدید ادراکی میان آنها به قدری گسترده است و نیات خصمانه متقابل میان امریکا و ایران به قدری آشکار است که در عمل باعث شده است هر دوی انها تشویق شوند تا برای ایجاد بازدارندگی به صورت پیوستهای در این موازنه تهدید شرکت داشته باشند. به این ترتیب به  نظر میرسد که با توجه به  عوامل موثر در پیدایش این موازنه تهدید در  شرایط فعلی نمیتوان چشمانداز روشنی از پایان یافتن تلاشهای آمریکا و ایران برای ایجاد توازن قوا در برابر یکدیگر ترسیم کرد.   The extensive ideological rivalries and conflicts between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America in West Asia have resulted in a state where these two actors perceive each other as objective threats. Driven by divergent regional interests, the two states view each other as impediments to the attainment and safeguarding of their respective national interests in the region. Consequently, a mutual perception of threat has arisen between the United States and Iran in West Asia. The prevailing perception of threat has given a unique character to the rivalry between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America in this particular geopolitical sphere. Thus, both actors have been forced to engage in deterrence strategies vis-à-vis each other's perceived threats so as to attain a balance of power. In this context, each of these two states attempts to create a balance against the other by leveraging their respective advantages and opportunities, with both appearing to have been largely successful. However, the perceived threat level between them is so high, and the United States and Iran's mutual hostile intentions are so clear that they have been encouraged to participate in this balance of threats in order to create deterrence.
