The rise to power of the extreme right and the challenges of European politics

With the end of the Cold War and the formation of a new international structure and regional alliances such as the European :union:, the world seemed to move towards greater convergence, but the occurrence of new developments such as regional and international conflicts, global terrorism, immigration and the rise of nationalist parties, we are witnessing the formation of new crises. The current study examines the power-gaining of far-right parties in Europe, the change of opinion of European voters towards extreme nationalists, and the power-gaining of these parties is considered a danger for the future stability of the :union: or the weakening of its policies. Since the main characteristic of this extreme nationalism is the negation of minorities and opposition to the policies and structures governing the country and the European :union:. While examining the formation of the European :union: and the rise of the extreme right in an analytical and descriptive way, the article wants to answer the question, what changes will the rise of the extreme right parties bring to the politics of European countries and the European :union:? The research findings show that opposition to the transfer of national sovereignty to the European :union:, opposition to the expansion of the European :union:, opposition to immigration policies and European values ​​can still be pursued by these parties.
