Abstract:   (1295 Views)
The concept of good governance is formed due to lack of trust in the government. Public administration, which was assumed to be a strong tool for solving social problems in the past, has faced an identity crisis. To solve this crisis, and to replace crisis management, the theory of good governance is the most acceptable. The main purpose of this article is to evaluate the future political stability of Saudi Arabia from the perspective of political, economic and social indicators of good governance, and the research method is descriptive and analytical. In evaluating the future of political stability in Saudi Arabia based on the indicators of good governance and in the shadow of the reforms carried out and in the hands of the Saudi rulers, it should be said; Good governance will be achieved in Saudi Arabia and the reforms will reach the desired result if they are pursued simultaneously in economic, social and political dimensions. In the 2030 vision of Saudi Arabia, more than anything else, the issue of economy and getting rid of dependence on oil, as well as economic diversification and some of the social affairs related to women and granting them rights, have been emphasized; But it should be known that one of the important dimensions and indicators of good governance is the political and governance dimension. The future of political stability in Saudi Arabia depends on not limiting reforms to economic affairs, and it should be moved from the economic sector to the social sector and finally to the governance sector. In the Saudi national transformation document, reforms in the political dimension followed by popular participation in the governance structure are missing links that will make good governance virtually sterile. The war in Yemen, interventions in Syria, human rights problems and suppression of the opposition are among other issues that, in line with the political indicators of good governance, in the current structure of the Saudi government, a solution has not been considered yet.
